For over 13 years, we’ve shared our farm with a very special herd. What began with three animals has grown into a small, fluffy family full of character. Our llamas – Mirlana, Tayo, Diego, and Marina – and our alpacas – Tamila, Celine, Tayfun, Cosmo, Cioccolata, Chiara, and Carlos – are now an inseparable part of the farm. Originally, they joined us when we transitioned from dairy farming to raising young cattle. To keep life on the farm alive during the summer months, we chose llamas and alpacas – gentle creatures perfectly suited to the steep terrain. It was love at first sight. Today, we regularly take short walks with them – there’s time for grazing and for you to capture photos that will melt any heart. Afterwards, we return to the farm, where they head back to their enclosure – content and full. Depending on the group size, up to five animals accompany us – ideal so that every guest can lead “their” llama or alpaca. And once you’ve looked into their big, soft eyes, you’ll know: this is what real slowing down feels like.
